Takeo Spikes has been released as of yesterday in order to avoid a $5 million roster bonus. My interpretation of this move is that the organization is creating more cap room to sign a true #1 WR via a trade that will likely include Lito Sheppard. Potential candidates include:

Larry Fitzgerald
Roy Williams
Chad Johnson

It seems that the most attractive candidate would be Roy Williams since he not only exudes talent, but his contract isn't ridiculously overvalued like Larry Fitzgerald's.
